Pierre Schaeffer’s Étude aux chemins de fer (Study of the Railroads) is reinterpreted as a loudspeaker. The dark form of the cube can be seen as an abstract form or as a train emerging from the speaker, mirroring the dual nature of Schaefferian acousmatic listening.
